I agree 100% about the fact that forbidding him to smoke will only make it that much more "fun" for him. I think education is the most important thing. Make sure he knows the true depth of the possible consequences that come from smoking- health and getting in trouble with the law, but mainly health (knowing it's against the law will even make some teens want to do it more.) Find a informative website or article about the health risks, pull it up on his computer, and leave it there for him to see when he walks into his bedroom. Don't mention anything to him, just leave it at that and see if it makes a difference. Good luck to you!
