The thing that's unique about Fetterman is he's the first U.S. Senator who can't understand or be understood by his fellow Senators or his staff without electronics. He's also the first Senator to check into a hospital for clinical depression weeks after being sworn in. That's why Governor Shapiro is having to answer these questions about who he might pick to replace him, should he choose to resign.
I honestly think he would need to die before he resigns due to his handlers. He isn't physically or mentally fit for the job, but he has people that can guide him. He is a body that was voted for. Who would be the replacement? I for kicks did a search to see if there was some google answer and there isn't anything that I could find. Shapiro keeps saying he will be back better and stronger than ever. Can't blame him for sidestepping such a question as he knows they will prop Fetterman up in a chair and have someone speak for him before they change to another body.

It seems that you have a short memory.

"Illinois Republican Sen. Mark Kirk has suffered a serious stroke that may lead to permanent physical damage to the left side of his body, but doctors believe that Kirk will be able to return to his full Senate duties."

“I think his prospects for a full mental recovery are very good,” Fessler added. “I think his prospects for a full physical recovery, particularly on the left side of his body, are not great.”

"It’s unclear when Kirk will return to his tasks, but other senators – including Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Sen. Tim Johnson (D-S.D.) have suffered strokes and have continued serving in the body."

It seems that you don't read very closely. Mark Kirk's brain functioned just fine and like the other Senators who had strokes, he did not have clinical depression on top of the stroke.

Look, Fetterman won the election. And if he resigns then he'll be replaced by another Democrat. That is not being questioned.

They counted more ballots, digital and otherwise, for Fetterman than Oz. many if not most illegal or duplicate. Democrats count until they win. its what they do, like all communists and fascists. that party has been a cancer on America since the early 1800s. then they tried to say they became republicans.

Rasmussen just found that Kari Lake was voted for in Arizona by a spread of 6% (3% margin of error)

Lul, what? Do you do realize the difference between a polling and actual voting, righting?

Mods, for the love of God, can you please close this inane thread?

This has now devolved into a circle jerk for the Breitbart conspiracy theorists of the forum.

It's only a matter of time before they go apoplectic over Hunter Biden's laptop again.

I understand your frustration, and while you knew about his stroke you couldn't have known about his problems with severe depression when you voted for him. I'm OK with the thread being closed because I'll start a new one if more information comes to light, or if I think a lot of time has passed without any Fetterman mental health updates.

Yep, hyperbole.

You seem to overgeneralize just about everything and there have been many Senators over the years with major health issues who continued their terms, some even while they were hospitalized. Do you believe that Mitch McConnell should step down immediately due to his significant health issues that are limiting his ability to do his job?

This thread is about John Fetterman of Pennsylvania and the decision that Governor Josh Shapiro may or may not have to make one day. Start a thread about The Turtle on the Kentucky forum if you like, and send me an invitation to weigh in.

Spoiler
The governor of Kentucky is a Democrat, so The Turtle would not resign under any circumstances.
