He also asked my father's friend but he told him he didn't know him. My dad didn't find out about this until days later.

I eventually managed to track down this man and asked him why he didn't guide my brother to my father and he just said that your dad had a family and that he didn't want to cause him any trouble...

Historyfan, the only thing my dad knew about Columbia was her first name.
I actually did come in contact with a member of the Greek Orthodox Church years back. This person tried to help me but nothing did come up except for one Columbia he found but didn't end up being her.

Super great suggestion historyfan and it got me to thinking that Zefira lives in Corfu (one of the Ionian Islands) perhaps she could place a personal ad in one or more of the local (as well as a more frequent and widespread read paper) directed to anyone who may have knowledge of her brother or even appeal directly to her brother.

Perhaps you have already tried to do this Zefira..., I don't know.

Maybe...

Yasou, so did your dad voluntarily tell you the information or did you somehow find out and ask him? Just wondering if he gave a fake name just so the son couldn’t be found. Especially since your mother never knew.

Hi Adistea,
He volunterily told me. My dad wanted to find my brother, this is why he spoke to me about him.
He had met Columbia (my brother's mum) before my mum so he wasn't worried about her finding out.

Yes, I looked her up on Family Tree Now, and it looks like she has a son/daughter named Thais who was born in 1977. So 43 now. Too young of course and I'm not sure if it's a girl or boy name. That website is very thorough. It scares me what they know about me lol Try searching on that and see.

Thank you for this Adistea, now I know that it isn't the right one, so i can take her of my list of Columbias. I tried entering this site but there is some kind of site security error that comes up that wont allow to enter.
