Right--hopefully not. I do see the point of the emergency fund, for emergencies! That way, you don't keep using the cards. I won't plan to move, but I do not have a lease and have an erratic landlord. thanks.

Emergency funds are a life-saver in times of need. If you don't maintain such funds you're bound to get deeper and deeper within your debt burden. With a little bit of planning, you may save your face.
