I'm pretty sure the most under-taught subject is "grammer." Hell, throw in basic writing in there too. It might not be grammatically incorrect, but "the average college graduate, with an average..." is just bad, sloppy writing.

Grammar. Checking my dictionary reveals that "grammer" is not a word.
bUU, I wouldn't take all of their advice (especially on investing), but perhaps you could pick up a Dave Ramsey or Suze Orman book. You have the power to pull yourself up. You have the power to stop being a victim. You can start doing things today, even small steps to put yourself in a much better financial position in just a few short years. Feel free to send me a private message if you want any tips or have any questions, it all starts with you though. You steer your own ship.

The reality that you both keep doggedly refusing to admit is that there are structural impediments to getting ahead in our society, and even those of us who aren't suffering from them have a moral obligation to work to remove those impediments. You actually don't have the answers, because for the matters I've raised, no one person does... it is a societal problem that needs societal solutions.

The vast majority of middle class people can save for retirement if they choose to. If they can't it is because of a rare tragedy.

The childish game you're playing isn't fooling anyone. Trying to evade the repudiation of what you claimed with such nonsense just shows that you realize that you cannot defend your perspective on the merits. There are structural impediments to getting ahead in our society, and even those of us who aren't suffering from them - including you - have a moral obligation to work to remove those impediments. It is a societal problem that needs societal solutions. Even if you continue to play childish games to try to deflect.
Half of all Americans take home less than $25K after health insurance and taxes. Can you save for retirement on that?
This is my issue. I also have two children and live in a higher cost of living area. Every year I pray things will improve, but my income has steadily dropped over the last five years. I just spent 10 months unemployed and took a receptionist position because that was the best I could find at this time.
While I get that it's not as easy as it sounds; been there, done that.... you may want to consider actually doing something to improve your situation as opposed to passively waiting for it to improve for you.
