I also loved Istanbul.

And you are going to book a couple of 15,000.00 vacations too? You are full of it, no one is going to bet a person they believe is dishonest so that leaves you with zero suitors

I can and will if the pot is sweet enough.

Gotta boat docked in Spain somewhere? I’ll go take my picture in front of it.

I’m part of the 0.0001% that REALLY retire.

I’ve got 732 boats in Spain and not one of them needs you in front of them

Congratulations. You retired and live like a poor person, everyone here is jealous that your parents/so watch your child as you sleep in, sit on the couch watching tv and feast on CiCi’s pizza. If only we could be like you

Define “poor person” please - let’s start with the first ad hom attack.

Life poor, possibly cash rich although that's very debatable.

Define your idea of life.

....wait stop...if your life involves alarm clocks, rush hour, bosses, uniforms (yes, suits count as uniforms unless you’re The Donald), etc, etc....I want NO part of it.

No part of it sir.

It varies for us.

My OH s hours got drastically cut, this past year and so no Vacation in 2019, not even a weekender.

Every 5 years we plan for a $5k trip, we know how to schedule trips to places like Hawai'i or Disney world. ( Yes I calculated it's be $3500-4k if you know what to do to go to Maui to have a nice air, car rental, hotel and meals and excursion fees. It can be done).

The in between years we take at least one 2-3 day weekender, usually one in spring and one in fall. We both love chasing still operating steam trains to see the steam locos and ride their excursions. Our best friend usually also goes with us. We go all over east coast. This spring planning on the B&O RR museum In Baltimore.

2018 was, for various reasons also a bust fir vacations.

ACTUALLY lacking 2 years of Vaca allowed me to get an off lease 2019 Dodge Grand caravan fir$18,325 out the door, cash paid no payment at l. So skipping allowed that, otherwise would have had to wait with a 06 kia Sedona, whose electronics were failing. No abs, no driver air bag no ESC, emergency brake always showing as on when clearly not, etc. Becoming a safety hazard .

So the trade off we now have new van to go weekends with!

We save to dedicated savings account s for vacation.

Best to All who travel, it's FUN, exciting and great to get away, see something different.
