The estimate puts our population at nearly 1,560,000. I would view the official count as the low estimate, and the actual estimate as the high estimate.

Great news in any case. Reversing a trend like that is a pretty significant achievement. Let's keep it up.

Oh, and since they didn't count me you have to add one more to that number, which brings it to 1,526,007.



I moved here in August after two years at Temple University, but am still considered a resident of Berks County as far as the census was concerned.

It's pretty exciting. They didn't count me either, as I lived in Minneapolis when they census went down. Or my wife. Last census, I lived in Berks County too - just spent a couple of years in Minneapolis, so Pennsylvania lost a resident that they didn't need to.
