Some definitions may be helpful here:

discussion - definition of discussion by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia.
Quote:
dis·cus·sion (d-skshn)
n.
1. Consideration of a subject by a group; an earnest conversation.
2. A formal discourse on a topic; an exposition.

taunt 1 (tônt)
tr.v. taunt·ed, taunt·ing, taunts
1. To reproach in a mocking, insulting, or contemptuous manner. See Synonyms at ridicule.
2. To drive or incite (a person) by taunting.
n.
A scornful remark or tirade; a jeer.
And trolling from Urban Dictionary: Trolling

Quote:
The art of deliberately, cleverly, and secretly pissing people off, usually via the internet, using dialogue. Trolling does not mean just making rude remarks: Shouting swear words at someone doesn't count as trolling; it's just flaming, and isn't funny. Spam isn't trolling either; it pisses people off, but it's lame.
Frankly, I'm not sure who is doing what here. Some people may think that posting crime after crime is trolling since all it does is tick people off. Surely, it can be argued, crime information is easily available so what is the point of posting single crimes on a city day after day?

Some people may think that asking rhetorical questions about said crimes is taunting. Both of these things are against the Terms of Service for this site.

Quote:
Be civil, no personal attacks, flaming, or insults. We may attack ideas (politely) but we do not attack the speaker of the idea. Be careful with your words, there is a point where being direct crosses a line into blunt, in-your-face hostility. Please, report bad posts instead of engaging in flame wars on the boards. Insulting another member or a moderator will not be tolerated anywhere on this website. This includes Direct Messages and Reputation Comments.

If you disagree with something, say so, but explain WHY.

Stay on topic. Attempts to hi-jack threads by switching topics or going off topic will be deleted and infractions issued. This is not a chat room - when people hi-jack threads by posting messages that are of interest to only few people, the threads often stop being useful discussions of initial topics.

Hate speech, racism or bashing of ANY sort will NOT be tolerated. Rude posts will be removed and infractions issued. Do not quote or talk to trolls or your posts will also be deleted. Use the report feature instead.

"Trolling" is prohibited
I'd like to suggest that from here on any posts about a single crime contain a sentence or two about why this crime is unique to our area or at least something about it. From that point we could actually have a discussion about these crimes.

Crazy NAKED Man Jumps on Septa Bus and attacks Camera Man in Philly | Philadelphia Nude Man - YouTube
This kinda things make me sad because I am pretty sure that the city had tried to do whatever best they can to take care of these people.
BUt this is the reason why I am a bit of paranoid living in Philadelphia. Ever since I moved here, I had encountered so many interesting characters out there, which I never ever IMAGINE encountered in my life. Bear in mind, I have lived in at least 5 different cities in my entire life.
Although I have to admit that I was never physically harmed.

Just the other day, I saw a homeless lady tossed cookie (projectile ones) round after round on Rittenhouse near my place. Gaaahh being an emetophobe, I was so scared ****less.
ARGHHHHH..............

And 2 weeks ago, on Market East (Around 11 pm I have to admit), a naked man hiding behind shrubberies by Marriot called me "HEY you! Come over here!" Who in the right mind would actually come to this fellow's call LOL! If you want to commit a crime, you better do a better job than calling your victim.

I start thinking about that. I had experienced living in Lansdale and Glenside. While Lansdale is another whack job, Glenside is so peaceful.
