It put some neighborhoods on a different page. If you scroll down and click page 2 at the bottom, those neighborhood boundaries will show up.

I made a complete list by neighborhood of murders in 2011, but I decided to recreate the neighborhood map and map the murders as well. I'm moving tomorrow and have to finish packing, so I only have gotten West Philadelphia finished so far. The link is below and the total is 21 murders and it is broken down by neighborhood. Red pegs are for murder by shooting, green is by knife, blue is by hand, yellow is "other", and pink will be for death by arson. I will also update the pegs with more information about each murder.

Edit: I just noticed I can save the map and reupload it so I didn't have to hand-draw it all over again. Oh well... waste of an hour, but I learned a new skill, I suppose.

Edit Two: I'm currently working on South Philadelphia. I also figure out how to get everything to display on a single page. Copy the address above, go to google maps and paste it into the search bar of google maps and press enter.

I have finished West, South, and Center City Philadelphia. I also started work on North Philadelphia; I am about halfway done with this. Then, I just have to do the riverwards. This is probably the last update of the night. I'm planning on tracking the murders through the last decade or so.

I may be able to finish this tomorrow, but it is my last day here in Metro Detroit and I probably will be quite busy. I don't know when I will have internet again either. Google maps has the option of collaborate, so if anybody wishes to join me or create their own maps for certain years independently, feel free to do so. See you on the 7th, Philadelphia .
