Yes. Cherelle Parker is pleased with him per a recent press conference, so he may stay on.
From your lips to, if not God's ears, then at least hers.

But that's another data point in support of the argument that Parker is likely to be a much better mayor than Kenney.

I realize that's a low bar to clear. So let's raise it a bit and express the hope that she may actually rise to the level of Rendell or Nutter.

Lets see how the follow-through plays out.

We need to see an organized, coordinated effort to protect innocent citizens from these terrorist groups looking to make a statement. The rides are meant to make us uncomfortable.

So far, so good - from both Mayor Elect and Acting Chief. Hopefully the rank and file will feel a newly supportive PPD chief and signal a renaissance in hiring and interest in the boys in blue.

Lets hope.

She has about 1,000-times the charisma of Kenney; that's for sure. That alone is a huge upgrade.

Why he ever ran for Mayor will be one of the biggest mysteries in Philadelphia history.

This isn't meant to be provocative; it's just reality of today's culture/politics but it was super helpful to the pro-enforcement cause that the idiot who got arrested for pulling guns and kicking in windshields was a white guy.

We used to run into him in Old City all the time. He was always kind of a jerk.

I mean, the construction on 95 in the Northeast has been ongoing for 15+ years, but as soon as it's national news, they can rebuild a bridge in a week and an half. Go figure.

They did this years ago (15?), but then backed off for some reason. They would confiscate them and crush them.

Let's not get too excited, he just started.

Was in town last night to see Mean Girls with the family at the Miller (formerly Schubert) Theater on Broad and there was another gang of dirt bikes/ATVs that went by (and this was almost at the same spot as the window smashing incident happened). Hopefully, the city did something about them.
