Depressive realism. (I only clicked on this thread because I looked up dimaniac's other posts, and I see/approve of his invocation of the Fermi paradox here. Life is pointless, suffering is pointless, etc etc. Get used to it. You profess to adhere to science; scientific method has no room for teleology. Depressed (or valiantly stoically non-depressed, although the former would be more numerous) people who choose not to procreate know the score.)

Glad you all figured it out. So I guess you guys will all start your club and when you all die...good thing others will have disagreed with you and will have had kids...0.00001% of which will want to keep your antinatalist club going.

When we all die, it won't matter (nor will it have mattered) who believed in having kids and who didn't.

7 billion exist now, 115 billion have existed total according to estimates (I forget if that includes the living 7 billion or not...either way, the point shall remain), 0 will eventually exist...you tell me where the meaning is in having 2.2 children of your own.

I could tell you, but it would take a quiet (and sober) mind to understand so I won't waste my time.
