That's why the state is turning the cameras off on the 101 - 60%+ of the tickets were never paid.

If you feel "bad" for not paying, you can donate $200 to the charity of your choice and make your wife say 10 "hail mary's".

At least that won't get your car insurance jacked.
Your right on everything except it is 120 days, not 90.

First, thanks for the feedback, boy oh boy, well, the ticket is from "Arizona Department of Public Safety, Automated Traffic Enforcement." Photo Enforcement Program, Court 0701. It is for 82 in a 65. She was headed back to Gilbert from Castles and coasters in Phx, it got her on 16th st/I10. Someone in front of her slammed on the breaks, of course they knew the camera was there and she didn't. She went to pass them and flash..... If anyone has a lawyer reference, at this point it would be good to know who someone has used with any success. Thank you,

Write them a letter and tell them that the person behind the wheel is not you.

Our ticket was handled by our lawyer. There are lawyers who will handle this sort of thing for about 150.00.

I don't know what kind of ticket you received in the mail so I don't know how expensive the ticket is.

I'd ask the person who was driving to pitch in for the lawyer if need be.

In the end, it's better to maintain a clean driving record so your auto insurance will not go up.

Good luck

Understood, there is a form:
Identify the new owner OR driver

'If you were not the driver or did not own the vehicle at the time of the violation, please identify the driver or owner in the space provide (sic) below'

then it asks for the drivers name, address and drivers license number, date of birth...

So you are fully aware who was driving your vehicle, Sengle?

Remember . . . KARMA!

If you got the ticket from one of the freeway cams (not the city ones) it doesn't go on your record. It is not reported to DMV by administrative rule to encourage people to pay.

If the President wants to sue Arizona, it should be for these stupid photo radar tickets.

82 mph in a 65 mph zone, and following too close to stop when someone in front puts on their brakes!

That is extremely dangerous and very close to criminal speeding, which is 20 mph over, or over 85 mph.

It's no wonder that people visiting Phoenix complain about the drivers here.

Keep the cameras is my opinion.
