Really? I thought we made it better. LOL

I like the fact that the Phoenix area is a little like Southern California. Maybe if it wasn't coppied as much you wouldn't have all of us Californian's wanting to move to the area. LOL

All joking aside, how did Californians ruin the city?

I think so many people move here from so many places that Californians couldn't possibly ruin this city on there own. lol
I am just as curious what "ruining" did you guys do SOON2BE? Come on fess up, did you guys drain the Tempe town lake again? Ha ha very funny you little Californians, stop it now, not funny! You know we are packing out here, be careful now. lol
I know those dang Texans brought that humidity over this summer!

You forgot to add that Phoenix is:
1. Within 4hrs of San Diego CA, But does NOT have the SD Cost
2. The nature all around it
3. Should I even name the proximity to Grand Canyon?
4. 4hrs to Vegas...
5. Not that it doesn't have snow, but that it is DRY. We live in FL, and I am in pain non stop because of the high humidity here.

When I say it is in 4 hrs from either CA or NV I refer to the fact that someone with a small business can advertise there also which increases their client base.

Thanks for defending us Twiggy. I was starting to feel like we should take our In n' Out Burgers and go home. I feel like I meet more people from the midwest in Phoenix than Californians. It seems like it's the place that Cubs fans go to live out their retirement years.

Yes, we do have a great location snuggled in the middle of some very fun states! I do admire you who get to them in 4 hrs though, I honestly have never been able to get there that fast. Maybe it is because I have kids with me. lol

Esthetics (sic), the look of Phoenix. LMFAO!!!

That would be the last reason to pick Phoenix. Unless you like endless strip malls and brown ugly scrub land. The areas outside of Phoenix (Tonto Natl Forest, Prescott, Payson etc) are a totally different story.

The same with me, most Californians aren't fleeing the snowy winters, just coming over for less crowds and cheaper housing costs. I meet way more snowbirds! The birds are always happy because it's never going to snow. lol
One of my favorite things is hanging out with some east coasters or north mid westerners and listening to their stories about blizzards, scrapping ice and trying to walk to the mail box in 20 below. I always walk away feeling a little crazy for wanting to experience 4 seasons again. They assure me, I will not like it.

Some people really love the scrub land sbmohr, really! A lot of people leave because of it as well, like a 50/50 split. See my other thread, I was surprised that people are coming and leaving for the same reasons. Like others have posted, ones trash is another's treasure. That seems to hold very true for the Phoenix area. Especially because we are so different compared to the rest of the U.S.
