Farmland 101: Cats do not kill chickens (UNLESS they are hungary to the point of starving and nobody chooses to do the right thing and feed and fix them). Idiots abound in both the country and the city and everywhere in between. It's the decent folk that balance this out and not the shotguns--I know what I speak of.
I don't believe it's mentioned anywhere in the post exactly how many cats this neighbor has--for 2 can be two too many for some that claim to be 'animal lovers'. If this neighbor really wanted a solution and was simply not complaining, she would help her neighbor get control of the situation. Do right, be decent....it's got nothing to do being a 'do gooder'. End of story.
