You just killed an endangered species. Expect a visit from the Feds soon.

I wouldn't worry about it. After researching green scorpions on the Internet, it appears that you stepped on either a drink or a superhero. The superhero appearance in your yard is highly unlikely, so I would guess it was the drink. Just spray the area down with plenty of water to avoid ants and other pests.

That's interesting. I've never seen a green scorpion in AZ, just black or brown. Are you sure it was a scorpion?

Scorpions are the one thing that makes my wife fearful of a move to Arizona. After all, we have no experience with them. There were none in Brooklyn or on Long Island. Do they climb up the walls and ceilings, hide in your shoes or closets, or are they mostly outside critters? Appreciate any feedback on scorpion experiences. thanks...

Tell your wife she can relax, John

I relocated here about ten years ago and, so far, have only spotted Scorpions and Rattlesnakes at the Wildlife Museum!

The best theory . . . THEY ARE MORE AFRAID OF ME THAN I AM OF THEM!

Isn't that scorpion from a mythical planet? If scorpions are capable of interplanetary travel through realms of imagination to reality, we have far greater worries than their stings.....
