A limited budget is one thing, but the complete lack of creativity and thought that went into these commercials is what's really disturbing. They can't be that cheap to air, but it seems like they showed up to the shoot with absolutely no idea what they were going to do ahead of time. I guess they never try to enlist the help of college students interested in TV production, who would probably write something better for free?

What I do is exactly the opposite of what the ad is intended for. If an ad annoys me I refuse to use whatever is advertised.

I agree on the Express Flooring commercial but I find the political ads to be the worst. Especially Quayle's anti-Obama ad, and that has nothing to do with my feelings about Obama.
