Our family may be relocated to Arizona for a job on the east side of Phoenix near the 143 (Hohokam Expressway) and 202 (Red Mountain Freeway). We have kids age 4 and 8, so we'd be looking for a decent school district, low crime. Housing no more than $205,000. Are there any suburban areas or areas within Phoenix that you'd recommend that would meet our criteria...staying within a reasonable commute to work? Thank you for any help you can give us!

Good schools in Tempe, which is just adjacent to that part of east Phoenix. Nice suburb with a high quality of life.

According to redfin, 67 of them 200k and under, with at least 3 bedrooms. This idea that this price point doesn't exist in Tempe is just wrong.
