HOLA! Me and my wife are moving down this fall so she can attend ASU and Ican ride my motorcycle year round. We love Phoenix. We visit her mothers pool in Mesa every year. Oh shes there too... (HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED T HE DEADLY SUMMERS I KEEP HEARING ABOUT YET) We are both in our early 30's no kids thank the creator. She's lived in Minnesota her whole life. I lived in San Diego from 04 to 09. So Cal too crowded. We are fed up with the winters(About 6-7 months with temps as low as 10 below zero with out wind chill) we've weighed in the pro's and cons of the Phoenix area (And ours, the Twin Cities) and decided we'd rather be BURNT than FROZEN. I would love to get some feed back from other transplants,locals,whoever about the "VALLEY"....jobs, wages (i make 18$hourly as a painter in new home construction) neighborhoods or cities near ASU to live, and not to live, commuting, good taco shops, dive bars, bowling (we do leagues), cool MC rides etc... Iam a Painter and shes does office work(16$HR). We go out drinkin once week usually a "Dive" And love Mexican Food. Any advice on moving cross country with all your crap would be much appreciated too. We are looking to rent a 2 bed 2 bath apt. and We will have about 15k saved...enough?? thanks yall!!
