IF you are familiar with So California innercitys, you can get an understanding of the probable future for Buckeye. You will have some popular subdivisions (Windmill Village) (Verrado)and some unpopular areas .. (downtown). Never the less, Buckeye will transform from a very quiet (rural-esk) town to a hustle and bustle town such as Goodyear then progress to an old, overcrowded town such as Phoenix. (LONG TIME from now)This is the way all metropolitan regions progress and change. There is good and bad to both new and old cities (ALWAYS). NEW CITY...less traffic, less graffitti/trash,,, less crowd...less crime...Less noise...less cost.... NEW CITY....less to do.. less information....longer drive..... OLDER CITY,, Vice versa. Its that simple.

A good friend of mine is a city planner for Buckeye. Right now there are plans for 240,000 more houses in the city and more to come with annexation. Buckeye by 2030 will be the 2nd biggest city in Arizona.
