I for one love it out there today with the overcast skies and 86 degrees.
You got it

I moved here for the sun and miss it when it is not shining. I hate clouds if you love clouds and rain you live in the wrong place

Clouds are gone, go out and enjoy the sun.

Not a thing here in east Phoenix last night. In fact, my neighborhood has only received one big storm all summer so far, and that came a few weeks ago around the middle part of July when that microburst hit Arcadia ... we got the wind and heavy rain from that. Otherwise, it's been more of a NONsoon where I live. These monsoon storms are usually isolated in nature to where one part of the metro will be slammed, and many other areas will be bone dry.

Just ignore her ... and similar posters for that matter who transplanted here from somewhere else, and gripe about practically everything except the monotonous sun.

Last night was really hit or miss. We had a nice lengthy rain, but the nearest three rain gauges were .28", .04" and .00". I'm guessing that we were closer to the first one.

LOL...It's funny but I lived on the Oregon coast for 11 years and I never owned an umbrella. Move back home and I feel I need one for the Monsoons. Well, when it's really gittin' and goin' I don't feel like running through it without one. lol It always surprises me, at work, how many umbrellas we sell during the summer. It's a rare sale in winter.

Yeah I'd say you're about 5 miles away as the crow flies, must of just missed out though. That night with all the lightning we got a few drips and that was about it.
