Nonsense, there are termites and scorpions everywhere in the Phoenix area. That they would be in one place and not others is silly. I had termite tubes in Ahwatukee and my wife had them at her place in central Phoenix. I've found scorpions either inside or outside in every part of the city where I have lived. Anyway, termites in AZ are a trivial problem requiring nothing more than a treatment to clear up (unless you get the dry wood ones, but I never heard of anyone having them) . Most people never see scorpions even though they share their houses with them. There are a bunch of scorpion threads already - don't want to stir that up again.

If you come to Estrella, be sure to stop at the "Homefinding Center" rather than just driving around. It is just past the waterpark on the lake. Has what looks like a big round ball on it. They have some really nice displays in there about the area.
