Hello so I'm thinking of moving into some apartments off of 16th ave and buckeye they are really nice to me. They have everything I'm looking but they are APS 😢 As long as I have been in phoenix I've only dealt with SRP. Would the bill be based on how much I use or the area they are in? I am really curious to know what to expect. Also they are called the symphony apartments, so if you know if them or live in them I would love a review.
Thanks.

You pay for what you use, but have time of service rates available so you can pick what works best.

IIRC they leveled a public housing project at that location a few years back and built one of those "mixed income" complexes (i.e. subsidized). You may or may not know this.

Have you gone over there to look at the area?

Yes, I have APS. It's the same as SRP, Dominion VA Power, ComEd, and all the other utility providers I've had, in that you pick a plan, you use whatever you use, and you get a bill.

I'm not trying to sound sarcastic here, but for crying out loud, APS has a website and they explain things.

I've had both SRP and APS and can say that they seem almost the same to me. FYI that area is a little rough around the edges - NOT trying to say that you shouldn't move there, but just don't expect it to be a trendy yuppie area.

SRS will not waive the deposit to start services like APS will if you provide a reference from your previous utility company. That was the only major difference I could see.
