There are many levels of membership at the Club...so hope your friends were given all the right information. They also have membership drives where the price is significantly reduced. I think for a full golf membership we paid about $3000 during a drive and you are able to get a sports club membership or social membership for quite a bit less. The monthly fees can be paid a year in advance and you get 12 months for the price of 11.

I'm unable to find an official Arrowhead community website showing a community map, amenity info, etc. Does an official community website exist?

When a person/family buys a home in Arrowhead, do they get full access to the Arrowhead Country Club with their HOA dues or do they have to buy a membership to be able to use the Club swim, tennis, and golf amenities? Also, does Arrowhead have centrally organized activities and events for the entire Arrowhead community?
Thanks for your replies about the membership. If a home owner does not buy a membership, does Arrowhead still have centrally organized activities and events for all of the home owners? Also, does an official community website exist?

I live at Arrowhead in the Sierra Verde part. I'm not aware of any websites but the HOA does send out a newsletter quarterly. They also sponsor parties in the park. The last one we went to they trucked in a few tons of snow for the kids to play in. We have walking trails connecting all the neighbor hoods to the school. Its a very family friendly area. No crime to speak of. We moved here from North Dakota a few years ago and we are much happier and feel much safer. My advice would be to drive throughout the area. If you have any other questions or would like me to expand on what I said above let me know.

I had some time and did some more digging for you. Arrowhead is split up into separate subdivisions. Mine is 1mile by 1 mile. Most are about the same size. I'm not sure of the exact names of the subdivisions south of the 101 but here are 4 of the ones north of the freeway that are part of "Arrowhead".

Hillcrest Ranch HOA Glendale Arizona

thanks Great Joy. You're the main reason I looked into it more.

I live a few miles north of Arrowhead Ranch/ Arrowhead Lakes area. The area is beautiful with great schools. We used to have RE agents leave us cards and even gifts at the door asking if we were interested in selling.
It is also not far from Bell rd, where almost anything you want is available on Bell. Shopping, Theatres, restaurants(oh my the 100's of restaurants!) We are thinking of joining the Country Club, just for the gym benefits!
