One other great aspect about this year's monsoon is that the rains were isolated enough not to create any mosquito breeding in my area. I had only one bite so far this year. Way to go! No zika for me

Got a little rain overnight in Scottsdale last night. The clouds looked super threatening around 7PM or so, but not a lot of rain fell. Anyone else get any?

We got some rain in Ahwatukee too - not a lot here either, just enough that we noticed our vehicle was wet this morning.

This morning on my drive to work there was a double rainbow, the darker one looked to end right at the top of South Mountain. You could see the rain off to the west.

What a delightful summer day! A few clouds, a little humidity and not even 100 degrees. Close your eyes and you'll think you're in Wisconsin!

There are signs of drying in the long range. As little as two more weeks if we are lucky till this nonsoon is over with. Still, with the way this year has been going, the moisture and the heat (without rain except in a few small areas) will hang around till October.

Lets see here... we got absolutely soaked on Saturday evening, streets were flooded in Scottsdale. Had rain Sunday afternoon, too. Got poured on last night around 4PM, and again this morning. Id say this monsoon is getting pretty wicked.
