My brother in Milwaukee texted me to tell me the high temp up there yesterday was 95.

I told him that's why we left WI for AZ...to escape the heat.

Some friends (transplants) told us they were going camping this weekend up on the Rim. We told them to make sure to bring LOTS of blankets and warm jackets...they looked at us like we told them to watch out for Chupacabra and asked why. Uhm..lows are in the 30s up on the Rim this time of year...this whole state isn't a desert. Hopefully they did some research and packed accordingly

^^ Unfortunately. Damn near 100's again. As said earlier, not unusual for this time of the year. But it gets tiring by this time of the year STILL dealing with hot temps.

^^^It'll be ok. The whole country is dealing with hotter than average temps and we just enjoyed a below average break, it was over 90 degrees on the field in Philly yesterday and Chicago hit 93 on a 5 day record breaking heat wave. A huge part of the nation is scorching and we're worried about getting back to about average?

We're also looking at a reasonable chance for rain later this week.

Nothing about this forecast concerns me-

YAY! One last blast of heat! Hopefully it leads to a hotter than average October!

My pool is done for this year, though. After an overnight low in the upper 50s...BRRRR.

You need a hot tub. Mine will be at 102 degrees in one short week. There is nothing better that cool evening temps and stepping into a hot tub.
