I love the heat but it was making me lazy lol

Getting close, but I've learned to not look forward to the cooler weather until October. The last triple digit high is typically in October.

The downside is that I won't be using my pool much longer. It has been perfect the last couple weeks.

Phoenix is too hot for me. Still 108 yesterday. If I have enough money, I would move out of state ASAP.

Monsoon season is dying. I still see big thunderheads forming in the afternoon, but no rain, and the humidity and dew point levels are steadily dropping.

Monsoon is over. The clouds we see today are from a low lingering off the coast not typical monsoon stuff. It will move through tonite. More cold (cool) fronts are moving through after that. Finally! (but it's the heart of hurricane remnant season, so we could get rain from that). I wouldn't write the 100s off just yet either, though they will be fewer and fewer. The days are getting short too. I got up this am at 430 to do some outdoor work and it was pitch black. I was surprised how late the sun is now rising.

Nope...100s will be back...we won't reliably be in the 90s till October. Summer heat usually ends about Halloween'ish with some random nice days in there. It looks like about a week and a half respite from 100s coming up but...don't celebrate too soon.

Not all of Arizona hits triple digits everyday. If you want mild summers, move up to Prescott Valley. Weather is similar to Colorado, just a bit warmer.

This is the worst part of the Phoenix year for me. Summer just drags on and on. In the past three weeks we've had 12 days with a high of 108 or higher, which is pretty hot for this time of year. The upcoming week looks really nice in comparison, but don't be fooled because we still have some hot ones coming.
