Yes. I’ve lived in areas with MUCH MUCH higher income than anywhere in AZ. Last I checked Sammamish, WA had an average household income of $212k so about 3 times what most of Phoenix runs at. However, it seems that a disproportionate amount of people in Phoenix are super flashy. Usually when you’re wealthy it’s taboo to be showing your money off, so generally that’s my first indicator most of these folks actually aren’t that wealthy. Obviously, some are but not the proportion we’re seeing.

That's interesting because the stats say otherwise. In 2016, Phoenix was tied with the LA metro area has having the third highest poverty rate, so in fact there isn't a high percentage of rich young guys here... Maybe you're seeing what you want to see .
