In fifteen years in Phoenix, I have never met a Canadian. I did meet a freaky guy from Alaska who I guess was into extreme climates. The most interesting fact about Canada I learned is that everyone lives in the south along the border, though they brag about the size and beauty of the place.

How do you know you never met a Canadian? It's not like they have maple leaf tattooed on their forehead. Lol

I laughed when I visited a Fry's and found Canadian food items stocked in the International Food aisle.

Aboot is 100 percent Canadian. So is PROOcess (process).
Now baaaaayyyyg (bag) or taaaaayyyyg (tag) are Minnesotian giveaways. Also nooo (no). Finally, people drink "pop", not soda.
I intentionally dropped my accent years agooo.

There are enough Canadians here that a local CPA firm specializes in Canadian/US resident tax returns. We've had a few ourselves and we don't specialize in them.
