Yes, there's a section of Paradise Valley that juts west & southward, and borders the canal as well as a section of 32nd Street. I always found 40th Street north of Camelback rather interesting: you go from apartments & office/medical buildings to ranch styled homes with desert yards. Before you know it, you're in Paradise Valley, which in a way seems like a different world compared to the Camelback East area.

Just curious, but what is that little triangle in the center of that Venn diagram of Arcadias considered?

I was also wondering about that. It really should be a part of Lower Arcadia, but it might be too insulting for the residents of that "triangle". It's all part of Camelback East ... however, for the fun of it, why not just call it Arcadialess?

I think it would be Arcadia Lite since it's N of Indian School.

Yes, it does.

Something interesting (and humorous) I found regarding Arcadia's borders:

And then there are "the people who say they live in Scottsdale", i.e. Phoenix residents in 85254.

Another reason for the somewhat lower property values in north central Phoenix vs. Arcadia is there are some cheaper apartment complexes mixed in with the nicer properties in the north central area. As far as I know, Arcadia proper is pretty much all upscale. The north central area can boast having Uptown Plaza (which recently had a complete makeover), and of course the close proximity to light rail, midtown, and dowtown.
