I thought all Costcos were all the same.

Really, no sales tax? I never noticed. I'll have to look at my receipt a little more closely.

Phoenix got rid of the sales tax on food 4 years ago...

My bad. You're right. I am lucky with a day off during the week after my 80 hrs work week. I forget not everyone has a day off during the week.

No argument here. We live in the same area and the Avondale one is so much worse than other Costcos we've been to.

Please report back!

We go either to 19th Ave & Montebello or 44th St & Oak. They're both about the same, no complaints.

Btw, I've never been there, but I'm sure the ones in Scottsdale are the best. All the free sample stands probably give out caviar, filet mignon and champagne (jk)! Haha

Yep, formerly Christown Mall, now phoenix Spectrum Mall.....also superwal and target there....that costco has the self checkout, making it a standout. Oh, but that pizza stand is dirty and those lockers to put your belongings are filthy. Frozen berries, cheese, nuts.....outstanding, but nothing is worth crazy long lines (with frozen stuff in phoenix)...Trader Who?, lol, still the best wine store, and Sprouts might save you a trip to both.

Ok, the verdict is in...the Avondale Costco officially sucks.

We went to the Glendale location and they have a much better selection of everything. We were in and out and it seemed less busy than the Avondale location. We got there around 10am.

Definitely worth the trip and we will make the journey once a month for sure. We'll use the Avondale location for anything we need in between that we know we can find there.

Still no bone broth even at the Glendale location.

Thanks for all the input.
