Although some mentioned Doncic as a better player on draft day, Euros are tough to project and the Suns have been burned in the past going that route. I think Ayton was the safer pick at the time but now it's clear who the best player was.
The ironic thing about that 2018 NBA Draft and subsequent 2018-2019 NBA season, Igor Kokoškov was the Suns coach for that season and he coached the Slovenian men's national team from 2016-2017, who eventually won the EuroBasket 2017 tournament with Dončić on their team!

Too bad Igor had little to no pull when it came to the 2018 NBA Draft and who the Suns selected, because if he had the authority he would have most likely picked Luka!

I won't be watching the Suns vs. Clippers game today, but I'm hopeful the Suns can pull off another victory, even with the absence of one of our star players (Chris Paul). Anything can happen at this point. The L.A Clippers were able to prevent the #1 ranked Utah Jazz from going to the Western Conference Finals, but this means that the Suns need to be as vigilant as ever. The Suns have never scored a national championship, although they came close a couple of times. 2021 has their name on it if they don't slack off.

Phoenix v Milwaukee would be an interesting NBA Final. League and networks must be hoping LA makes it after Milwaukee ousted the NYC market. I like the idea of the league and networks squirming and losing money. There is also the added drama of a coin flip decades ago that could have altered the Suns trajectory had it gone in their favor.

It will be a low rating NBA Finals because of casual fans. Although, Im not a Suns fan the storyline of the organization finally getting over the hump is very entertaining. The Suns are very entertaining even for me being an old-school fan that gets tired of all the 3's that get shot. Suns have a bright future with Booker and Ayton for sure.

Great win. I'm not sure how much the Suns are paying Monty Williams but Sarver needs to double it.

Watched the final seconds last night as I was checking on NHL playoff scores. I do no understand what happened at the end. I have never seen refs take so long to review a play in any league before. Is this something NBA has problems doing efficiently? Not a good look for a league that has documented problems with corrupt refs.

LA was trying to sneak in an illegal substitute for the last play. The refs were looking at tape to identify who was on the court just prior. I agree, it took a lot longer than it needed to.

Suns are playing the Clippers in the Western Conference Finals, and have won 3 out of 4 games. They're ever so close to going to the finals at this point, and I believe it's all theirs to win if they don't falter (or have any further injuries). Booker should've been awarded MVP, by the way. He has been largely responsible for why the Suns have done so well this season.

I dug out my '93 Western Conference Champs shirt. It's a tad tight now, but I'll be wearing it if they pull it off. I'm a bandwagon fan, but I've been on the bandwagon for a long, long time.
