I live in Anthem and have done so almost 4 years.

Employment = Not really any other than part time work. There are a few small business, but no major employers. Most primary breadwinner work in Phoenix or work from home. I work in Phoenix, but work at home when I get the chance to save the commute.

The freeway is bordering the community. It takes from my house 2 mintues to to I-17. Anthem is large and it can take 5-6 mintues from some parts to I-17

There should be great opprounities for rental homes. Prices are good too.

Most of Anthem is family oriented. It was designed for familys from the start at in Parkside there are "pocket parks" in 5 min walk from just about every home. Plust there is a large central park and community center with pool, gym and water park. There are also many active mom groups.

Traffic in Anthem is light and save for a job you can 95% of what you need here. I-17 can be hit or miss when it comes to traffic. Time of the day is important. Some will say it has the worst traffic in the valley, but most don't actully commute on it every day. I do and once you get to know the traffic patterns it is quite manageable depending on where you work.
