Everyone wants everywhere they live to be like somewhere else.

I've lived all over the country, and nothing feels more home to me than the metro-Phoenix area. I love everything about it. Unfortunately, I'm stuck in California for the time being, but you make do until you can be happy. I'm only 22, so I have a lot of time ahead of me, but I'd rather be in Phoenix now than where I am. If anyone is unhappy, I'd happily switch.

Smile Phoenix is not doing so well right now

This isnt a good time to come here. If you are from the midwest this place wont provide much relief. A lot of people come here expecting to find a better life and wind up with a big dissapointment.

For some, it is an opportunity to learn to spell disappointment as well as to experience it.

Poor, pitiful me poster hating Phx and how scuzzy it is and how dumb the people are and how smart the people are in SF...

Here is a big hint: You now LIVE here. For a bit of time. You aren't one of those cool SF people. You are a scuzzy Phx dweller. I imagine people in SF would think you a total loser for living here. For how long? HOW MANY YEARS HAVE YOU LIVED HERE?

Another hint: Move.

Go somewhere you like! Oh, yeah...you CAN'T.

And it's Phx's fault.

It is not Phoenix. It is you. Look in the mirror.

Just curious....do you have lots of friends, family and happy times? No? Well, gosh...there may be a trend there.

Your truth. What a load.

It's been a lot better since you left.

We are actually tossed between Chandler, AZ, or somewhere near Copperas Cove, TX. We actually prefer Central Florida, but AZ looks to be the cheapest because of property taxes and homeowner's insurance.

Hope your return to WA comes soon for you.

Good luck - and take care.

Copperas Cove, TX , imo is 100 times worse than Chandler, AZ. Small town, with hardly anything to do. Chandler you at least have access to other parts of the valley.
