Agreed, what's sad is that some people assume a person is an immigrant or an illegal if they speak English with an accent. Many Mexican Americans grew up in Spanish speaking households and thus English was not their first language even though they speak English fluently and were born and raised here. Some people in their hatred to round up illegals start racially profiling and fail to give people the benefit of the doubt. Thankfully, that hasn't been my personal experience in Arizona and 95% of people I meet have been amazing here.

I can tell you their are more than zero hispanics in Gilbert since 5 of them live in my house (Cubans to be exact) and we have lived in Gilbert for several years. My kids and are husband are hispanic and look hispanic and I have never heard any of them complain about racist in Gilbert or anywhere else we have lived. People are so paranoid these days.
