There is a LOT of information here about all the Phoenix suburbs, if you do a search on either Chandler or Mesa you will find a ton of threads.

Yes, there are many "good" areas in both places, regardless of what you mean by "good".

Default Oh, you want to know what we think? That's assuming we think for ourselves. ;-)

I think South of McKellips and North of Brown Rd., West of Country Club and East of Power Rd., are pretty good areas. A few others, but I don't feel like typing anymore. Overall it's kind of bleh in my opinion.

I dont' really like Chandler either. I think North Chandler might have some betters areas that are at least newer than much of Mesa, if that's your deal.

In the newer areas of Mesa and Chandler it is hard to tell one from the other. But then it is tough to distinguish most 'burbs in metro Phoenix - thanks to the abundance of beige McHouses.

What the hell, some needs to buy me a compass. That should read East of Country Club and West of Power. The North/South was right.

Nope, not too much difference between the 2 cities.

IMO Dobson Ranch is a nice area of Mesa. Here are a few pictures taken by me in December 2008.
