Has anyone ever haggled at Pruitt's? I have shopped there twice in 2009, and I have only been able to get the delivery charge taken off (first time to resolve a delayed shipping complaint, second time because I ordered multiple items).

I am wondering if anybody remembers Barrows in PHX. My great uncle worked for them for many years. It was highend, right?

Didn't see a response to this...has anyone successfully negotiated a price down with Pruitt's? They are the only furniture store I have *ever* dealt with that will not budge. Not on pricing, not on delivery, not on tax, not on financing...NOTHING. Even if I pay 100% up-front, it means nothing. I find this very hard to believe, especially in today's economy.

Shop somewhere else then. Problem solved. Thread closed.

No, but this is a nine-month-old thread. VCHAO never posted again, so I'm sure he's not looking for an answer still....
