My husband (AA) and I (caucasian) just moved here from Shakopee, MN. So far we absolutely love it here. We live in Surprise. The crime is different as it is spread out. Surprise is pretty low crime, but you have to be careful everywhere. There are a lot of Hispanics of course and schools seemed mixed. Everyone seems so nice here. Nicer than MN. Not that I disliked it there (just the weather). But you are right that everyone is from there. I was from Iowa then Kansas City.

I will be finishing my undergrad in Business in 2010, currently working as an Analyst, and my wife is a Registered Nurse so I wouldn’t foresee any employment issues.
