That is incorrect. Towing, yes, but empty, you are wrong. The problem with this thread, why I originally linked it to Cummins Forum, as well as a couple others, is because it was full of hippie, liberal, tree hugger ignorance. My truck, when it was stock, was getting 11-12 MPG city, and 14-15 highway. After the current mods, 15 city, and 19 highway.

The guy in the truck who smoked out that family may or may not have been an *****hole. He could have been inciting a race with a ricer, or just trying to lay some smoke on a ricer, or maybe even another truck. He could have thought your car was a ricer. Karma, what do you drive BTW? I am not trying to flame you, I am just trying steer this away from bashing on one another. We get along on here, so I want to keep it that way.

I'll back you on the mileage. I have a late model diesel, 4x4 auto with 4.10 rear end. It weighs 7500 lbs empty. I get 17-18 with no load on freeway driving and 12 mpg pulling my fifth wheel. I've towed thousands of miles so have a real number there. Everything is stock. New, it was a little less, but I've never seen anything below 10 even with a headwind. It's not a Ford though.

PS: I am above average height, educated and politically moderate. I know the difference between "your" and "you're".

Why close the thread? I have found it to be quite humorous myself.

I had a truck try to do that to my car, however I left him in a cloud of white tire smoke. I am sure my 1969 Dodge is quite the polluter even though it is running on homemade algae gasoline now. My pickups are diesel, but running on homemade biodiesel that is quite clean.
