I don't think Nordstroms was ever announced for E Falls was it? They backed out of City North, though. Macy's has a warehouse in Goodyear and I expect that is all we will ever see of the Macy's name for quite some time.

yeah - nordstroms hasn't been a name

dillards has though

and macy's will be there when it gets going

we just all need to wait until retail sales start to pick up again nationwide and locally - which I don't think will happen fast enough for them to start building for a 2011 opening

right now the adjusted retail sales for dept. stores have been running in the $15B-$16B range per month on the adjusted national monthly average

last year they were running in the $16B-$17B range ........ 2007 it was $17B to $18B ...... this is also where it has been for the few years leading up to 2007

I think we need to get back to the national #s where $17B is pretty much always hit along with some good local indicators - will allow the national retailers enough resource to start thinking expansion
