Mine won't go on until we hit 100 for a few days in a row. The ceiling fans were turned on for the first time on Sunday and I'm in my usual summer attire (underwear) on the top floor of my building where no one can see me.

Strange though, I almost never use the a/c in the car. Even when my car's thermometer registered 118 (several times and for quite a while while I was driving in town last summer), I just didn't feel the need.

We haven't had to turn on the AC in our home as of yet, but we did have to use it in the car I believe twice this year so far.

Sorry, but it was over 90 whether April or not, doesn't matter the month...the last day that hot was the beginning of November...so most people would wonder about AC in the fall, almost winter also...

Temps here the past week have been in the 80,s. Im just not looking forward to another hot/dry & smoggy summer in so.ca/inland. At least the nights are generally cool (60,s).

Well, I guess I jinxed myself when I posted yesterday that we haven't turned the AC on yet. Hubby told me about 7:00 this evening that he was roasting and he needed to turn it on. I told him I was fine and I was even cooking dinner at the time. I was a little warm but not uncomfortable enough to turn on the AC. So he turned it on anyway but he compromised by setting it to 82. I guess the thermostat said it was 85 degrees in the house. Sheesh, some people are so wimpy!
