I agree--you are making an excellent beer tour for yourself.

East End doesn't have a brew pub, and it probably wouldn't make sense to open one given their current brewery location, but you never know I suppose.

Really bummed that East End has no bottling set up at all at this time. I wanted to grab some for gifts, but will just have to wait until they get up and running at some future date.

Fat Head's was awesome x1000. Their house IPA was very well done and I had enough of some of their beers from other brewers that I had to hand the keys over to the wife.

If you guys are nearby, be sure to check out the JewBulation brew at Fat Heads.

Also a little bummed that they didn't have a bottling line yet. The guy working the counter in their swag store said they hadn't bottled yet because "it costs millions" which of course it doesn't.

I thanked him, bought some t-shirts and went on my way

The sandwiches at Fat Heads are off the charts. This might be my new favorite Pittsburgh beer joint. I'll be back in April I hope and plan to take my group with me for a visit.

Fat Head's is great--way better than the more famous Primanti's.

I like Primanti's for what it is, but Fat Head's has got beer AND good sandwiches

Exactly! Fatheads is great, but it's a different style restaurant than Primanti's, which some Primanti's detractors don't seem to realize.

I understand the point, but I like the sandwiches at Fatheads better even holding aside the beer.
