I've seen a TON of Wagner signs in the West End. There isn't one in my yard though...

I'll be voting after work today.

I think Wagner will win easily-double digits.

After a lot of soul searching I voted for Jake Wheatley. He was the only credible mayoral candidate who did nothing to **** me off over the course of this campaign. I still have too many misgivings about Peduto, and Jack Wagner has shown himself to be a hack who stands for nothing (not that Pittsburgh hasn't had a ton of mayors like that already).

With 320 of 402 precincts reporting, Wagner is going to win going back to being state auditor by double digits.

Looks like Bill Peduto has it by about a dozen points.

And it doesn't look like turnout will be much lower than in 2009. It would have been nice to see it go a bit higher. I'm surprised by the split being so far in favor of Peduto and the turnout not having increased. I figured Wagner would get the old people and the public employee unions so that he'd do best if turnout was low.

I voted after 5 pm, and the number I received was still in the double digits. Less than one hundred people showed up in the 8+ hours the polling station was open. SAD.

One person handing out literature literally blocked me from entering the building while trying to hand me a pamphlet in support of their candidate. I refused to take it and threatened to call the police. There needs to be a law that blocks those vultures from hanging around polling station entrances.

I really think the youth vote turned this one out for Peduto. Most of my friends who wouldnt normally give a rats ass about the primaries were rabid to vote for him today.

Yep. Most of my 20-something friends also rushed to vote for Peduto. Wagner didn't reach out to the younger demographic at all, and it really showed in how badly he lost. He just didn't even try to win.
