There is also one on Rt 28 getting on it going northbound from the Millvale exit.

I HATE that stop sign! My car takes a while to accelerate from 0 to 60, and cars come FLYING around the bend there on 28. For a "new and improved" Route 28 it's still very dangerous in sections.

That is the one part of 28 which they have never worked on to my knowledge and have to plans to for the time being.

You should get a muscle car. I could see you driving a 1992 Mustang GT, with the 5.0L V8. You'll have no issues accelerating from that ramp!

I drive all over the area and worst ramps IMHO are:
  • Heading out of town, the last ramp to get on theparkway before the Fort Pitt bridge. Traffic entering has a yield sign, but rarely honored.
  • The aforementioned Route 8 stop sign entrance.
  • Both Greentree entrances to the Parkway West.
  • The exit/entrance ramps near the route 60-22/30exit.
  • And coming from 279 over the Fort DuquesneBridge, then just before the Fort Pitt bridge there is a “merge” lane coming from the right, really dangerous, most people never look.
Other than that, this place is great!!!

The Squirrel Hill east bound ramp to the Parkway East I 376. Steep Hill/Stop Sign/Crossing Multiple lanes.

Please read every single post above mine on this page, and then try to tell me with a straight face that Pittsburgh doesn't need to spend any money upgrading its highway infrastructure. Good luck.
