Giant Eagle Drug Test? (Pittsburgh, Edgewood: credit, employment, legal)

Hi all, I just moved to the Pittsburgh area recently and have started applying to places. I haven't applied yet to Giant Eagle, but I'm wondering for a part time position, do they drug test? If so, is it a urine test or a mouth swab? I keep getting mixed results of no they don't and yes they do and its a swab. I can provide the location if needed. And before anyone asks, it's only weed and I would never use it during work, just away from work. Just trying to get an idea of what i should prepare for. Thank you to whoever answers.

You should be prepared to take a drug test for any company, no matter what the location

I have no issues with weed personally but its going to limit your employment options given the drugs current status. I dont know of many jobs that do not do some level of drug testing unless maybe a small business. If you have a company in mind just google them, I googled Giant Eagle and direct from their employment site is below

Right, I've done some research, and the results come up mixed. Some say no, some say yes, I'm trying to get like a definite answer. It seems if they were to drug test, it would be a mouth swab. Just trying to be sure.

No one here is going to know what standards every single business in Southwestern Pennsylvania has. I would be utterly surprised if Giant Eagle does not drug test.

You will never be sure, anyone can drug test and most will. I get it's just weed but given it will impact you having a job maybe look at your priorities or move somewhere were its legal and less likely to be an issue. Not trying to be mean, I personally think it's no worse than many legal things but it is what it is right now. Is it more important to smoke a little or have a paying job?

Giant eagle is a mixture of privately owned stores and corporate stores. My guess is some private stores dont bother checking and the corporate ones do.

Yep, I called to complain about the Edgewood store and their customer service told me that they were privately owned but they would pass on the complaint to their ownership

if you smoke you should know how to easily pass a test with a couple days notice, swab or urine.
