I know you’re not going to gamble while thinking you know more than the rankers.

You’re obviously limited in who you talk to. Stillers get talked about all year on at least 3 Pittsburgh sports radio stations and get brought up throughout the year on other radio channels, and constantly get brought up throughout the year on local news and cable/satellite sports channels, especially throughout free agency and before and after the draft. And you not paying attention to sports until 9/1 explains a lot, especially with college football as not knowing who the recruits are, players are, practices, there’s week 0 college games, players coming and going through the transport portal are, etc…, while criticizing the rankers and clamoring because Big10. You should really pay attention to as to somewhat know what you’re talking about, and with conference scheduling.

LMAO at losers. This explains even more while you prove to haven’t an idea as to what you’re talking about so often, other than watching big games, clamoring because Big10, criticizing rankers, etc…, while never saying where teams should be ranked, and coming in after the fact.

There’s a hUUUge number of sports fans that listen and watch throughout the year. That’s why there’s so much availability to watch and listen, same as across the entire country with sOOO many options available to watch and listen, and why these networks even have a person assigned to report on each team all year. One would have to almost never turn their tv, radio, satellite network, etc…, to not know such things exist and how hUUUge the sports market is 24/7/365. Not everyone is just a big game/box score fan like yourself…and let’s not forget the interest in other countries as college and pro football games aren’t limited to the US.

Madden said on his show yesterday that Pickett is the “most coddled athlete in Pittsburgh sports history”. Thoughts?

Sounds like a segment of hilarity to fill time since he’s only been a Stiller for a year…and Tomlin has coddled and especially enabled primadonna players for years, and the media certainly didn’t have much to say about their behavior, and Pickett doesn’t look to be anything near that.

Perhaps the Buccos great success thus far has him essentially rattled. Bucco roundups can’t be fun for him these days…though Dick Groat died so he’s no doubt going to tear into the organization for not already retiring his number.

Sometimes Madden sounds pretty silly. For goodness sake Pickett just got there and people are excited that he might do well over time. Madden just loves to go after any sort of hope. Now he is all about the Pirates and complaining there are no fans. What does he think, fans are just going to forget decades of failure and frustration? Come on.

I like Pickett and hope he does well, but man there sure seems to be a lot of hope and pressure. So far he seems to handle it pretty well for such a young man. Hope the Steelers have a winning season this coming year. I am not expecting that much, but it wouldn't surprise me if they make the playoffs. They just seem to not be bad for long. Amazing franchise really.

muh “Kaboom” on Madden’s show just said with the work ethic and huge amount of work he’s put in, with the talent he has, etc…, Pickett is going to take a big jump this year. He also praised him last year in the second half of the season and hasn’t mentioned Trubisky since…and we’ve seen the praise that “Kaboom” has received here in the past.

Well one thing MM is probably going to be right about is Peezy’s kid being the first round pick. But we’ll see, feels a bit unpredictable.

Not going to get the best corner or tackle at 17th, probably more like 3rd best? According to the draft rankings, anyway…
