One of the reasons I've never liked Pittsburgh is the weather. I'm 28, so I remember the blizzards back in the 90's with not-so-fond memories. Snow shoveling was my least favorite chore when I was living under my parent's roof. I remember constantly sliding on slick roads, pavement whitened from salting, bitter cold, etc. What happened? Global Warming?

I used to thing global warming was BS, now I'm not so sure. A 60 degree day in Janurary used to be a rare treat. Now it's becoming the norm. I just looked at the 15 day forecast on accuweather.com and I must admit that even though I hate snow, I was a little shocked by what I saw. No snow in sight, daytime highs incredibly mild. This is unreal.

While we may be experiencing global warming, that is NOT the reason its so warm outside. The REAL reason is that the planned casino has brought us a bit closer to hell :-) .
Kidding aside, I think I will take a little time off and get outdoors.
