Hi folks, we are considering building a home in the North Allegheny County or South Butler County areas. Do any of you know of good, solid, reputable builders who you would suggest for us to contact?

Thank you in advance for your help.

If your looking in Cranberry, Warrendale, or Wexford, It seems like there are many Ryan and Maronda homes. There are very many threads that compare and contrast Ryan and Maronda. I also hear of heartland on this forum as while. I think they too are in the subdivison housing business. If you search "Ryan", "Maronda", or "Heartland homes" in the city-data.com search browser there will be a number of threads come up.

Thanks for the reply. I am looking for a builder who will build "my" plan. I believe builders like Ryan do only their plans, in their sub-division. Thanks again.

I would contact a local bank and ask if they handle construction loans. if they do they might have a list of contractors they work with and recommend....

By local I mean Mars National VS PNC. Smaller is better in banks. I also don't know if Mars National is still around...

I'm pretty sure Heartland now has a new group that will build on your lot. Seems like I see an ad for it almost every Sunday in the PG?
