The parking lot thing (about Panera's) wouldn't make sense. The one in Oakland doesn't have a parking lot. I suppose I should be upset that a business in Squirrel Hill is closing...but with all of the delicious food options in Squirrel Hill, I've never been to that particular Panera. Perhaps it's closing because it couldn't compete with the local businesses? That might be crazy...but it could happen.

Boston Market is disgusting. They should all close and reopen as something with food that doesn't make people sick.

My thoughts exactly! I basically spend time in that B&N before and after going to the movies at the Manor.

Trust me the B&N and Panera locations in SQ Hill wont be empty long...Forbes and Murry is Prime and Turnovers happen quick.

I wish Saladworks would expand to Pittsburgh, the Panera site would be a good location..

In all the years that I went there to read (for free), I can count the items that I bought there. Most people did use it as a library. (A library with better books and current magazines)

My co-worker was just telling me about Panera's, in Squirrel Hill, closing this morning. She went up there, this morning, to buy pastries. Anyway, that's a bummer because I used to stay jumpin' on any ole bus, to go up to that Squirrel Hill Panera's, since the one down by Pitt, on Forbes Avenue, STAYS EXTREMELY PACKED during the lunch hour!

Are they still planning on doing that big development down at Murray and Forward? Tango Cafe should move up to where Panera is (though the rent is probably prohibative.)

I hate having to go to the theaters in Sq. Hill. Overpriced, uncomfortable and bad sound though they usually do have good indies and foreign. Considering Pittsburgh already gets the bottom of the barrel with those kinds of films, though, it would be a shame.

What bottom of the barrel? We may get the indie movies later than larger markets, but we eventually get them.

I won't argue about the sound at the Cinemagic theaters, but they are cheaper than going to the Waterfront.

Last I heard it was still on, that was a couple months ago though.
