Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for ideas on holding a small birthday celebration for an adult (lady). I was thinking of a restaurant that would maybe accommodate around 20 people. Having it at a restaurant we could already have meals and appetizers ready to go.

I'm thinking of Monterey Bay Fish Grotto on Mt Washington, I think they have a banquet hall. Cheesecake factory at South side also comes to mind.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You!

I thoroughly enjoyed Amalfi's on 10th, on the South Side. The food was reasonably priced and GOOD to top it off. Someone in my group asked them if they closed off sections for private parties and showers and things of that nature, and they said they did. They are located next door to the Holiday Inn on 10th Street....Here is the link:

The original Atria's in Mt. Lebanon has a private room that is wonderful. We had my bridal shower there and the service was great, it was truly private (as opposed to other restaurants that just block off a section of tables) and a great environment.

For something low key and fun, the Doublewide Grill on the South Side has a party room: Double Wide Grill, Pittsburgh, PA

Thank You for the suggestion! I tried calling them but they seem to be closed for renovations?

I second Atria's in Mt. Lebanon. We had my Mom's birthday celebration there in a private room and it was really nice. The food is fantastic, too!

Default Thanks Everyone!

I ended up going to Carino's in Monroeville (in the mall complex next to Barnes and Nobles). It was GREAT! The staff was very very accommodating, they even let me store the cake there the night before so I wouldn't have to lug it with me. It was a surprise party and they helped out a lot. I had about 35 adults and kids, and everything was very reasonably priced. We had a nice private room with a fireplace and everything. It was a great time for everyone.

Thanks for the suggestions!
