I am being transfered and will be working in the Green Tree area. I will be baching it until my wife and familty come up after we sell our house and I am looking for clean place to stay for a month or 2. Any recomendations?

Have you thought about a extended stay? Two months is pretty short. If it was for like 6 then you should sublet a place. There is a extended stay in Carnegie right near Greentree.

Other than that, look for sublets for your time frame on craigslist.

These guys do nice short-term furnished apartments Corporate Accommodations-Pittsburgh, PA-Fully Furnished and Equipped Short-Term Apartments but they don't have any right in the Green Tree area. Closest ones are downtown or Robinson or Moon. Which would be better for commute depends upon what area of Green Tree, probably, although with the tunnel downtown is probably not the greatest idea.

That extended stay hotel (a low-end one) off the Parkway would be a rather dismal place to spend a couple months I would think, but I suppose it could be done and is probably cheaper.
